Formerly known as Sweet November Bistro, we have proudly served our guests in Jos, Plateau State for almost 6 years. Chef Jemmy’s passion and innovation have guided our journey from a beloved bistro to the vibrant and well-established Simmer Restaurant you see today. You might be curious about the transition from Sweet November Bistro to Simmer Restaurant. Sweet November Bistro started on November 30, 2018, at Korinjoh House on British-America Road. The name ‘Sweet November’ was chosen to celebrate the month of our restaurant’s birth. Over the years, we’ve continually improved our cuisine and service. In November 2020, we moved to our own property in Rayfield with the vision of becoming one of the city’s top dining destinations. As we evolved, we realized that our beloved bistro had blossomed into something far greater.
With new trends and innovations emerging in the culinary world, we knew it was time to elevate our concept. That’s why we rebranded as Simmer Restaurant. The name ‘Simmer’ represents a cooking technique where moderate heat gently combines flavors and ingredients, allowing them to meld slowly and harmoniously. This mirrors our own gradual growth and development— Though it may seem gradual, it’s all about perfecting the blend of flavors, growth, service and enriching your experience. Simmer Restaurant officially opened on September 3rd, 2024, and we can’t wait to continue this adventure with you.
